ADTRAN NetVanta 1335 Multiservice Access Router - Now with WiFi, PoE or BOTH.

The new NetVanta 1335 with WiFi (1700515E12) is a 24 Port Layer Layer 3 switch with onboard modular IP access router, firewall, VPN appliance, CSU/DSU, and provides dual radio support - 802.11b/g and 802.11a up to 54Mbps. ADTRAN also offers NetVanta 1335 802.3af PoE version packing a full 15 watts per port (1700525E2), and even a model that combines both PoE and WiFi -- The NetVanta 1700525E12. QoS is supported to prioritize traffic and control network congestion. The NetVanta 1335 VoIP Multiservice Access Gateway uses Low Latency Queuing, Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ), Class-based WFQ, DiffServe marking and FR fragmentation. The new ADTRAN Wireless solutions will be generally available beginning in May, 2007.

NetVanta 1335 and NetVanta 150 Wireless Access Points deliver business-class security features like multiple SSIDs (with the ability to disable SSID broadcasts), WPA/WPA2 with TKIP/AES, and for added security, the NetVanta 150 also employs Virtual Access Points (VAPs) - the wireless equivalent of a VLAN. This allows you to securely segment your wireless network. Each radio in the NetVanta 150 supports up to eight VAPs.

NetVanta 150 Wireless Access Point

The NetVanta 150 (1700412E1 wireless access point or 4700412E1 wireless access point with US Power Supply) 802.11/a/b/g Dual Radio Wireless Access Point (WAP) is Wi-Fi certified. Perfect for business environments that require security -- Wireless Protection Access (WPA) and WPA2 (80211i) AES are standard security features -- for WLAN implementations, NetVanta 150 offers concurrent 802.11 b/g and 802.11a radio supporting up to 54Mbps. Onsite installation (ACES #1100ALS10014N) is available for the NetVanta 150 at time of controller installation.

The NetVanta 150 Wireless Access Point works in concert with ADTRAN central processing controllers (e.g. NetVanta 1335, NetVanta 3448, NetVanta 3430 (see Tolly Report on NetVanta 3430 performance vs. Cisco), NetVanta 3130 and NetVanta 3120), and controllers can manage up to eight NetVanta 150s.

Introduced last September, the NetVanta 3448 series of multiservice access routers offers extreme functionality in one chassis. The modular NetVanta 3448 can deliver support for IP Routing, Switching, Firewall and optionally, VPN. WAN interface options range from 56K to T1/E1, Dual T1 and even ADSL2+ at 25Mbps.
